Creative College Setting
Full time, term time up to £34,500 per annum
Do you have a degree within Business, Design, Fashion, or Creative Media? Are you someone that can mentor and teach the younger generation? Would you be able to deliver engaging lessons to young people?
Parker Smith Inclusion works in partnership with a creative college based in Tower Hamlets and are supporting them with the expansion of their team, they have a requirement for a Course Leader on the horizon. Being a Course Leader within this environment you will be teaching a small class of students that have SEMH, ASC, processing needs and cognitive delays, they will be learning from a course that is one of the following;
- Level 1 Art & Design
- Level 2 Art & Design
- L2 Fashion Business & Retail
- L3 Creative Practice
To be a successful course leader you will need to be personable, approachable, and knowledgable of your subject, you will need to have passion and enthusiasm to encourage the young learners that they can achieve their goals! These learners may of struggled in their secondary school being that they didn't fit in, struggled with friendships or were misunderstood and the college is their safe place with that they have a huge say in who teachs them so getting the personable side of teaching across is really important!
I'd be looking to speak with candidates that have a degree that is relatable, ideally have been an entrepenur creating their own business or delivering workshops to young people.
