Are you a passionate Food Technician looking to make a real difference?
We are working with a fantastic SEND School that supports students who have a primary diagnosis of SpLD, Autism and communication difficulties.
We are seeking a dedicated Food Technician to deliver engaging, practical, and academic Food Tech lessons up to GCSE level.
About the role:

Deliver engaging, practical, and theory-based Food Technology lessons to students with diverse needs.

Support and motivate learners who may have faced challenges in mainstream education.

Prepare students for GCSE assessments, tailoring lessons to individual abilities.

Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages creativity and confidence.

Work closely with staff, families, and external agencies to support student progress and wellbeing.
- Comfortable supporting children with sensory and motor needs, Autism and/or communication difficulties
- Calm, confident and collaborative – someone who enjoys working closely with other therapists and teaching/support staff
- You don’t need years of experience, but you do need to care deeply about helping children feel safe, seen and successful
What the school offers;

Experience teaching Food Technology or supporting as a TA up to GCSE level.

Passionate about delivering practical, hands-on learning experiences.

Skilled at adapting teaching approaches to meet the needs of vulnerable or disengaged learners.

Strong classroom management and communication skills.
