We are working with a Pupil Referral Unit that supports students who have been unable to thrive in mainstream education due to a range of social, emotional, behavioural, or personal challenges. The school provides a nurturing and structured environment where young people can rebuild their confidence, re-engage with learning, and achieve qualifications that open doors to their future.
We are seeking a dedicated Food Technology Teacher to deliver engaging, practical, and academic Food Tech lessons up to GCSE level.
About the role:

Deliver engaging, practical, and theory-based Food Technology lessons to students with diverse needs.

Support and motivate learners who may have faced challenges in mainstream education.

Prepare students for GCSE assessments, tailoring lessons to individual abilities.

Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages creativity and confidence.

Work closely with staff, families, and external agencies to support student progress and wellbeing.
What the school offers;

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching Food Technology up to GCSE level.

Passionate about delivering practical, hands-on learning experiences.

Skilled at adapting teaching approaches to meet the needs of vulnerable or disengaged learners.
