Parker Smith Inclusion is working with supportive primary schools looking for Graduate SEN Learning Support Assistants to join their teams.
You'll gain experience supporting children with additional needs, learn from experienced teachers and get a better understanding of the difference you could make in education or a related career.
About the Role
You'll work alongside teachers and support staff, helping pupils access learning and feel more confident in the classroom.
Your role could include:

Providing 1:1 and small-group support.

Supporting pupils with Autism, ADHD, speech and language needs and other additional needs.

Helping children access classroom activities and learning.
-
Supporting communication, social skills and emotional regulation.
-
Encouraging pupils to build confidence and independence.
-
Helping deliver interventions and personalised learning activities.
-
Building positive relationships and helping children feel settled in school.
No two days will be the same, and you'll gain valuable experience working with children with SEND.
About You
You don't need previous school experience. We're interested in graduates who have the right attitude and genuinely want to learn.
Your degree could be in Psychology, Education, Childhood Studies, Sociology, Criminology, Sports Science or another subject.
This could be a good fit if you're considering a future career in teaching, educational psychology, speech and language therapy, counselling, social work or specialist SEND education.
You'll need to be:
