Parker Smith Inclusion is looking for graduates interested in becoming SEN Teaching Assistants within specialist SEND settings across Camden.
These are full-time roles where you can build genuine practical experience supporting children and young people with additional needs.
What will you actually gain experience in?
You could be supporting pupils with autism, communication differences, learning difficulties and other SEND needs while developing your understanding of:
- Individual learning styles
- Communication and interaction
- Emotional regulation
- Positive behaviour support
- Child development
- Independence and life skills
- Relationship-based support
- Multidisciplinary working
You'll be doing much more than observing.
You will become a consistent adult within a pupil's school day.
Does your degree have to be Psychology?
No.
We are interested in graduates from areas including:
- Psychology
- Education
- Childhood Studies
- Sociology
- Criminology
- Health and Social Care
- Speech and Language related subjects
- Youth and Community Studies
Other degrees can absolutely be considered.

- You're patient
- You're willing to learn
- You don't expect every pupil to learn or communicate in the same way
Previous experience with children or SEND is useful, but transferable experience will also be considered.
