Graduate SEND Teaching Assistant

North London

Are you a graduate looking to begin a rewarding career supporting children and young people with SEND?

We work with a fantastic range of welcoming mainstream primary schools, diverse secondary schools, specialist SEND schools, therapeutic SEMH settings and inclusive PRUs across East London. These settings are looking for passionate Graduate SEND Teaching Assistants to support pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups.

You could be supporting children and young people with a variety of needs, including ASC, ADHD, SEMH, MLD, SLD, ODD and PMLD. Working within SEND gives you the opportunity to make a genuine difference to a young person's education, confidence and development – and to finish each day knowing the support you provided really mattered.

If you're an aspiring Teacher, SENCo, Behaviour Mentor, Educational Psychologist, Counsellor or Psychotherapist, beginning your career in a SEND support role is an excellent way to gain valuable hands-on experience, develop your knowledge and discover where you would like your career to take you.
