This inclusive secondary school is seeking enthusiastic and committed Teaching Assistants to support students, including those with SEND and English as an Additional Language (EAL), helping them overcome barriers to learning and achieve their potential.
This role is particularly well suited to graduates considering a future career in teaching, educational psychology, or another education-related profession.
The Role
Working alongside teachers and support staff, you will support students in lessons, deliver small-group interventions, encourage independence, and help create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
You'll play an important role in helping students build confidence, engage with learning, and succeed both academically and personally.
We're Looking For Someone Who:

Holds a degree or has a strong academic background

Has excellent literacy and numeracy skills

Has some experience working with children or young people, ideally within education or SEND

Has a genuine interest in supporting students with SEND and EAL

Is proactive, resilient, and eager to learn

May be considering a future career in teaching
Please note that successful candidates applying for permanent positions will be required to complete Maths and English assessments.
Working Hours

Monday to Friday

8:15am – 3:00pm on most days

One day until 4:15pm for staff training

One day until 3:40pm for intervention support
