We are looking for graduates who are passionate about supporting children and young people, especially those with special educational needs (SEN) such as Autism, ADHD, and Dyslexia. Whether you studied Psychology, Education, Sociology, English, or another subject that involves understanding people, this role offers valuable hands-on experience in a school setting.

Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting students with Autism, ADHD, sensory processing difficulties, and social-emotional challenges
- Working one-to-one and in small groups to provide academic and emotional support
- Assisting in the delivery of creative and inclusive lessons that cater to a range of learning styles
- Helping pupils develop communication, self-regulation, and independence skills
- Building consistent, trusting relationships with pupils and supporting their daily learning
- Collaborating with teachers, SENCOs, therapists, and support staff to provide personalised support
This Role Would Suit:
- Psychology graduates or graduates in Education, Social Sciences, or Child Development
- Aspiring teachers, therapists, educational psychologists, or youth workers
- Individuals who are patient, calm under pressure, and passionate about helping others
- Graduates with strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Team players who are reliable, reflective, and eager to make a real impact in children’s lives
- Someone able to commit to a full-time, term-time only role starting in September 2025
What You’ll Gain:
- First-hand experience supporting students with special educational needs
- Specialist training in behaviour support, communication strategies, and inclusive practice
- Mentoring and development opportunities from experienced professionals
- Insights into career paths in education, SEN, therapy, and child psychology
- Potential to transition into a permanent role within the school
