Do you have experience as a senior leader within a specialist setting?
We are seeking an experienced and impactful SEND Head of School to join a specialist setting on from September. This is an exciting opportunity to join a reputable trust in a new senior leadership structure.
This specialist school supports primary and secondary age pupils with a diagnosis of autism. The setting caters for children with severe and complex learning needs, including social communication differences. Many pupils also experience speech, language, and additional learning difficulties.
A range of structured approaches are used to support communication and learning, including visual communication systems and highly structured teaching methods embedded throughout the school day and curriculum.
The school was rated “Good” in its most recent inspection with outstanding features praising its ambitious curriculum which leads back to the school and trust values and ethos of ensuring every child and young person learns and achieves at all levels.
