Health & Social Care Teacher – Online Specialist Provision
Immediate Start | Until End of Summer Term

Health & Social Care is about people. Understanding their experiences, supporting their wellbeing, and helping them navigate the challenges life can present.

For the students within this specialist online provision, those lessons often feel particularly relevant.

We are looking for a Health & Social Care Teacher to join a dedicated virtual learning community supporting young people who have found accessing traditional education difficult. Many students have SEND, SEMH needs, autism, ADHD, anxiety, or complex personal circumstances that have impacted their educational journey.

This is a role for a teacher who understands that engagement comes before attainment.

The Role

You will deliver Health & Social Care lessons online to secondary-aged students, helping them develop knowledge, understanding, and skills that can support both their qualifications and their future pathways.

Teaching takes place in small groups, allowing you to build positive relationships with learners and tailor your approach to meet individual needs.

Students thrive when lessons are relatable, engaging, and delivered by someone who genuinely believes in their potential.

Who We're Looking For

  • Qualified Teacher or experienced Health & Social Care educator

  • Experience teaching Health & Social Care at secondary level

  • Comfortable delivering lessons online

  • Understanding of SEND, SEMH, ASC, or emotionally vulnerable learners

  • Patient, adaptable, and relationship-focused

  • Passionate about helping students overcome barriers to learning

Why This Role?

The provision is built around inclusion, flexibility, and personalised support. Staff work collaboratively to ensure students remain connected to education and are given every opportunity to succeed.

For many learners, school hasn't always been a positive experience. Your ability to create a safe, supportive learning environment could be the reason a student re-engages with education.

At Parker Smith Inclusion, we work with specialist settings that prioritise both student outcomes and staff wellbeing. If you're looking for a rewarding teaching role until the end of the summer term, we'd love to hear from you.
