What you’ll be doing:
- Supporting the delivery of creative, engaging and personalised lessons, both indoors and outdoors
- Leading small group work and one-to-one sessions with patience and encouragement
- Building strong, trusting relationships with pupils so they feel safe, understood and confident
- Working closely with teachers, therapists and pastoral staff to provide a holistic approach
- Embracing outdoor learning, from forest school to farm-based activities, as part of daily life
We’d love to hear from you if you:
- Have experience supporting children with SEMH needs (essential)
- Hold an HLTA qualification or have equivalent experience
- Are warm, patient and positive, with a good sense of humour
- Feel confident leading groups and stepping in to deliver lessons when needed
- Enjoy being outdoors and don’t mind swapping the classroom for wellies and fresh country air
