We are working with a highly supportive specialist provision in Merton that supports children and young people who are unable to access mainstream education due to social, emotional, mental health, or medical needs. This is an incredibly rewarding opportunity for a committed and resilient Higher Level Teaching Assistant who wants to make a lasting impact.

As an HLTA, you will:
- Lead engaging small group interventions and support learning across GCSE and Functional Skills pathways
- Build strong, trusting relationships with young people who need consistency and encouragement
- Support students with Autism, SEMH, trauma, sensory needs, behavioural challenges, and social communication difficulties
- Work closely with a highly experienced and collaborative SEND team
- Play a key role in helping students rebuild confidence, regulate emotions, and re-engage with education

We are looking for HLTAs who have:
- Previous school-based TA/HLTA experience
- Experience supporting children or young people with SEND, SEMH, or Autism
- Confidence leading small groups and supporting learning interventions
- Strong emotional resilience, empathy, and relationship-building skills
- A genuine passion for inclusive education and supporting vulnerable young people
