Parker Smith Inclusion is recruiting an HLTA for a SEND-focused education setting in Camden.
You will work closely with teachers and support staff, taking a proactive role in delivering learning and helping pupils with additional needs make progress across the school day.
The role
Your responsibilities may include:

Leading individual and small-group learning
-
Delivering pre-planned lessons where required
-
Supporting pupils with SEND
-
Adapting activities around different learning levels
-
Supporting communication and engagement
-
Helping pupils regulate and return to learning
-
Working closely with teachers on pupil progress
-
Supporting less experienced Teaching Assistants
-
Taking greater responsibility within the classroom when required

Essential:

Strong previous classroom experience
