Are you a passionate Humanities Teacher that is looking to make a difference in the lives of young people with ASC?
A specialist School in Enfield, that caters for students with ASC and associated social, emotional and learning differences aged between 7 - 17 years for looking for a Humanities to join their inclusive and support team this September. They provide a nurturing and personalised learning environment in a purpose-built, low-arousal setting designed to support their learners in achieving both academically and personally.
Responsibilities of the role:
- Deliver engaging History, Geography, and RE lessons at Key Stage 2 - 4
- Differentiate content to meet a wide range of needs and EHCP
- Create personalised learning while following the national curriculum
- Work with a skilled multi-disciplinary team
What the school is looking for:
- Qualified Teacher (QTS)
- Experienced teaching Humanities across KS3 & KS4
- Knowledge of or strong interest in ASC
- Ability to adapt the curriculum creatively
- A positive, reflective and proactive attitude
