Specialist ASC School | Key Stages 2–4
Every young person has a story. Could you help shape their next chapter?
Are you a passionate Humanities Teacher who believes education should inspire curiosity, build confidence and open doors for every young person?
At Parker Smith Inclusion, we're working with a welcoming and forward-thinking specialist school in Enfield to find a creative and dedicated Humanities Teacher who can bring History, Geography and Religious Education to life.
Supporting pupils aged 7–17 with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) and associated social, emotional and learning differences, this school offers something truly special: a nurturing, personalised approach to education within a purpose-built, low-arousal environment.
Here, teaching is about more than delivering lessons. It's about understanding each young person's individual needs, recognising their strengths and helping them discover what they're capable of achieving.
What makes this opportunity special?
You'll have the freedom to bring creativity into the classroom, adapting the curriculum to make learning meaningful, accessible and engaging.
As a Humanities Teacher, you'll:
-
Bring learning to life: Deliver inspiring History, Geography and RE lessons across Key Stages 2–4.
-
Make learning personal: Adapt lessons to individual learning styles, sensory needs and EHCP outcomes.
-
Build confidence: Create a calm, structured and inclusive classroom where pupils feel safe to explore and succeed.
-
Celebrate progress: Recognise academic achievements alongside personal development and growing independence.
-
Work collaboratively: Join a supportive multidisciplinary team committed to helping every pupil thrive.
Who are we looking for?
-
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
-
Experience teaching Humanities, ideally across KS3 and KS4.
-
Knowledge of ASC or a genuine interest in specialist SEND education.
-
The creativity and flexibility to adapt learning to individual needs.
-
A patient, positive and reflective approach to teaching.
Most importantly, we're looking for someone who sees beyond barriers, recognises potential and believes every young person deserves the opportunity to succeed.
Ready to inspire the next generation?
If you're a Humanities Teacher looking for a role where your creativity, passion and understanding can truly change lives, we'd love to hear from you.
