Intervention LSA – 1:1 SEND Support

Dagenham | September Start | 08:30 – 15:30

£95–£100 per day (PAYE)

Permanent opportunity after 12 weeks for the right candidate

Not every Teaching Assistant role is the same.

Some have you rushing between classrooms, covering lessons at the last minute and trying to support everyone at once.

This isn't one of them.

We're looking for an Intervention LSA to join a welcoming primary school in Dagenham, providing dedicated 1:1 support for pupils with SEND. This is a role where you'll have the time to build meaningful relationships, deliver targeted interventions and genuinely see the difference you're making every day.

You'll work closely with the SENCO, class teachers and wider inclusion team to help children overcome barriers to learning, develop confidence and achieve their potential in a mainstream setting.

If you enjoy seeing progress that comes from consistency, patience and trust, this could be the role for you.

Your role will include:

  • Providing dedicated 1:1 support for pupils with SEND
  • Delivering tailored interventions to meet individual learning needs
  • Supporting communication, emotional regulation and social development
  • Encouraging independence and confidence both inside and outside the classroom
  • Working closely with teachers, the SENCO and external professionals
  • Helping children access learning and celebrate every achievement along the way

We're looking for someone who has:

  • Experience working as a Teaching Assistant, LSA, SEND TA or Support Worker
  • A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs
  • A calm, patient and positive approach
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • A desire to make a lasting impact rather than simply provide classroom support

What's on offer?

  • £95–£100 per day (PAYE)
  • Monday to Friday, 08:30–15:30
  • September start
  • Permanent opportunity after 12 weeks
  • Ongoing support from an experienced SEN team
  • The chance to develop your SEND knowledge and build a rewarding career in education

The right support at the right time can completely change a child's school experience.

If you're looking for a role where your work has a genuine impact and every day brings the opportunity to help a child succeed, we'd love to hear from you.

Apply today for a September start.
