Are you passionate about helping young people with SEND take their first steps into the world of work?
We are working with a specalist school in Enfield, that are seeking a dedicated and proactive Job Coach to join their team. You will play a key role in supporting young people aged 14-25 in developing employability skills, gaining real work experience, and successfully transitioning into paid employment. You’ll also work closely with employers, offering advice and training to ensure placements and job roles are inclusive, meaningful, and successful for everyone involved.
What you will bring to the role:

Providing tailored coaching and in-work support to young people with SEND.

Helping learners prepare for employment, from CV writing and interview prep to workplace behaviour and confidence building.

Working closely with employers to create inclusive and supportive work environments, offering advice and practical guidance.

Supporting young people on work placements to develop independence, travel skills, and workplace readiness.

Acting as a link between young people, families, and employers to ensure every placement or job opportunity is a success.

Promoting safeguarding, inclusion and well-being in all aspects of your work.
What the school is looking for:

Has experience working as a Job Coach, Teaching Assistant, Employment Advisor or similar.

Understands inclusive employment practices and is confident in supporting young people with a range of needs.

Is an excellent relationship builder who can connect with young people, families, and employers alike.

Is organised, adaptable, and able to manage a varied caseload effectively.

Has a full driving licence and access to a vehicle (desirable)
This is a less formal, skills-based programme that provides real value to their students, helping them grow in confidence and gain practical tools for life and employment.
