Are you passionate about SEN and what to be a part of someone's story? Are you interested in supporting young people prepare for their next steps in the working world?
A dedicated specialist school in Tower Hamlets are seeking a proactive Job Coach to join their fantastic team! You will be preparing young people aged 17-25 in developing employability skills and gaining work experience to successfully transition into paid employment. The employability curriculum consists of gaining skills such as CV writing, problem solving and money management. You’ll also work closely with employers, offering advice and training to ensure placements and job roles are inclusive, meaningful, and successful for everyone involved.
Your Part in Their Story
- Provide tailored support to young people with SEND
- Prepare learners for employment through developing practical and personal skills, such as CV writing, independence and confidence building
- Create strong relationships between young people, families and employers, ensuring the best chance of success
This role is an exciting opportunity for anyone currently in a similar role as a Job Coach, Teaching Assistant or Employment Advisor who understands the importance of supporting young people with complex needs in their next life milestones.
