A welcoming and highly supportive primary school in North Finchley is seeking an exceptional KS2 SEND Teacher to join our successful Additionally Resourced Provision (ARP) from September 2026.
This is a fantastic opportunity to make a genuine difference to the lives of autistic pupils and children with a range of complex learning needs, while working as part of a dedicated and experienced SEND team.
About the Role
As our KS2 SEND Teacher, you will:
- Lead learning for a class of pupils within our ARP provision.
- Plan and deliver engaging, personalised learning experiences that enable every child to thrive.
- Use assessment effectively to identify next steps and celebrate progress, however small.
- Work collaboratively with therapists, support staff, families, and mainstream colleagues.
- Promote meaningful inclusion and integration opportunities across the wider school community.
- Create a nurturing, structured, and aspirational learning environment where pupils feel safe, valued, and successful.
We Are Looking For Someone Who:
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Has experience teaching pupils with autism and/or additional needs, or has gained substantial SEND experience through placements and training.
- Has high expectations for every child and a commitment to achieving the very best outcomes.
- Understands adaptive teaching, personalised learning, and SEND assessment approaches.
- Is compassionate, patient, and resilient, with a genuine passion for SEND education.
- Works effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Believes strongly in inclusion and helping pupils access the widest possible range of opportunities.
