About the Role
We’re working with a specialist SEMH provision in Thurrock, supporting pupils at Year 6 level who may have experienced challenges within education.
You’ll create engaging, appropriately differentiated lessons while providing a calm, structured and nurturing environment.
You’ll be:

Teaching pupils at Year 6 / KS2 level

Supporting pupils with SEMH and additional needs

Planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons

Building positive and trusting relationships

Supporting behaviour, confidence and emotional regulation

Helping pupils develop independence and positive attitudes towards learning

Working closely with support staff and other professionals
About You
You must hold QTS and be confident teaching at Year 6 / KS2 level.
Experience working with SEMH, SEND or challenging behaviour would be highly beneficial, although strong behaviour management, inclusion and differentiation skills will also be valued.
We’re looking for someone who is calm, patient, resilient and consistent, with the ability to adapt their approach to individual pupils.
