Are you an experienced SEND Teacher who is ready to take the next step in your career?
A diverse and inclusive mainstream secondary school with a large SEND provision in East London, they are looking for a ARP Lead Teacher for a January start, in this role you have the chance to take the lead on the running of a new ARP, ensuring that the students are receiving the right support, making progress and achieving their EHCP outcomes. You can work closely with SLT, staff, parents and external professionals to make sure the provision continues to develop and deliver the very best outcomes for students.
You can also lead and support the ARP team, helping staff develop their skills and confidence when working with students with complex needs. They are looking for someone who is passionate about SEND, and understands what excellent ARP provision looks like.
What are they looking for?
- Strong experience teaching students with SEND
- Experience within an ARP, specialist provision or similar setting
- A good understanding of EHCPs, annual reviews and multi-agency working
- Experience supporting or leading other staff
- The confidence to work alongside SLT and contribute to the wider development of SEND provision
- A genuine passion for improving outcomes for students with additional needs
