We are seeking an exceptional Lead Teacher of Maths/Science/STEM to join a PRU based in Central London, working with students who require additional support to succeed. This is a unique opportunity to lead with purpose, transforming outcomes for young people who may have experienced barriers to mainstream education.
The Role:
- Lead the strategic development of Maths, Science and STEM across the school
- Drive high-quality teaching and learning at KS3–KS4
- Develop and refine an ambitious, coherent curriculum
- Use data intelligently to secure sustained student progress
- Champion numeracy and scientific literacy across all subjects
- Lead CPD, coaching and support colleagues to improve practice
- Create exciting STEM enrichment opportunities, partnerships and pathways
They are looking for someone who:
- Has strong subject knowledge in Maths and/or Science
- Has experience teaching KS3–KS4 and raising attainment
- Can lead, inspire and develop others
- Is confident in analysing data and driving improvement
- Experience teaching students with behavioural and SEMH needs
- Brings energy, resilience and a solutions-focused mindset
You will empower students to think critically and solve real-world problems and support them in their development and confidence in maths and science.
