Pay: £90–£105 per day (PAYE)
Hours: Full-time, term-time only
Contract: Temp-to-perm or permanent
We are working in partnership with a warm and inclusive SEND school in Harlow and are seeking a Learning Mentor to start as soon as possible. This full-time, term-time only role involves supporting primary-aged pupils with a range of additional needs, including SEMH, ASC, ADHD and SLD.
You will provide both 1:1 and classroom-based support, helping pupils to access learning, regulate their emotions and develop independence within a structured and nurturing environment.
Key Responsibilities

Provide tailored 1:1 support to pupils with SEND

Support class teachers in delivering inclusive, engaging lessons

Promote positive behaviour, emotional wellbeing and independence

Support pupils during classroom activities and outdoor learning sessions

Help to maintain a calm, structured and supportive learning environment

Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists and other support staff
About You

Experience supporting children with SEND is desirable, but not essential

Calm, patient and empathetic in your approach

Able to build strong, positive relationships with pupils and colleagues

Confident in supporting behaviour, emotional needs and learning

Adaptable, proactive and keen to develop your skills

Passionate about making a positive difference within a SEND setting
