Location: North East London
Salary: £90 - £95 per day

Contract Type: Full-Time, Term Time
Are you an experienced and dedicated professional with a passion for supporting children with special educational needs (SEN)? Do you thrive in a school environment, helping students overcome challenges and achieve their potential?
Parker Smith Inclusion are always seeking a skilled and compassionate Learning Mentors to join schools in North East London and work with students with a range of SEN, including speech difficulties, behavioral challenges, and autism.
Key Responsibilities
As a Learning Mentor, you will:
- Provide tailored support to students with SEN, both in and out of the classroom.
- Develop and implement strategies to support students' speech and communication needs.
- Assist in managing behavioral challenges, fostering positive behavior and emotional resilience.
- Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and other staff to create and maintain an inclusive learning environment.
- Build strong relationships with students to inspire confidence and engagement.
- Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to staff and families.
About You
The successful candidate will:
- Have previous experience working in a school setting.
- Demonstrate experience supporting children with speech difficulties, behavioral challenges, and autism.
- Be patient, empathetic, and adaptable in their approach.
- Have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Be proactive and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Hold relevant qualifications or training in working with children with SEN (preferred but not essential).
