Parker Smith Inclusion is working with a welcoming specialist SEND school in Enfield, looking for compassionate and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistants to join its team.
The school supports pupils from Early Years through to Post-16 across several campuses, with opportunities available at multiple sites. Pupils have a range of needs, including autism, learning disabilities and complex communication difficulties.
The Role
- Provide 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with additional needs.
- Encourage independence, confidence and communication skills.
- Adapt activities to meet individual learning needs.
- Build positive, trusting relationships with pupils.
- Work alongside teachers and therapists to support pupil progress.
- Celebrate achievements and help pupils reach their potential.
About You
We're looking for someone who is patient, caring, reliable and passionate about SEND education.
Experience supporting children or young people with autism, learning disabilities or complex needs is desirable, but not essential. A positive attitude, willingness to learn and genuine desire to make a difference are just as important.
