This September, they’re seeking a passionate Learning Support Assistant to join their supportive and inclusive team. Whether you have experience working in schools, personal experience supporting someone with additional needs, or are a psychology graduate eager to begin your career in SEND, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!
What is involved:
- Supporting students in Key Stage 4 & Key Stage 5 in developing life skills, academic understanding and social confidence
- Supporting students with a range of SEND, including SEMH, ASC, ADHD and complex learning needs
- Work closely with teachers and therapists
- Help create a safe, engaging and empowering space
- Working with students 1:1 and in small groups
- Visiting college placements with students once a week
What the school is looking for:
- Experience supporting young people with SEND (professional or personal experience)
- Or a psychology graduate looking to start their career in END
- A positive attitude and able to build trusting relationships
- Flexible and adaptable
- Able to work on your own and within a team
