Learning Support Assistant - Ealing
£90 to £100 per day PAYE
Monday to Friday, 08:30 AM to 04:00 PM

A primary school based in Southall, Ealing are seeking an experienced Learning Support Assistant to work in their Additional Resourced Provision (ARP) providing 1:1 and group support to students with Autism and associated learning needs. You will be based in the ARP providing classroom support with learning alongside the Class Teacher. If you are looking for a position where you will be playing a key role in providing support and working on raising the attainment of multiple students, then this may be the position for you.
This will be a full-time, long-term position starting immediately till the end of the academic year. The daily rate will vary between £90 to £100 depending on your experience and should you have positive feedback, there will be an opportunity to go permanent in September 2026.
The role:
- Provide 1:1 and group support to different students with Autism and/or associated learning needs
- Have the ability to use your own initiative to adapt learning standards to cater to the student
- Be able to set clear boundaries within the classroom and throughout the school day
- Support students with sensory regulation and manage behaviour
- Work closely with Class Teachers, Therapists and the wider SEN team to aid development
- Maintain a safe, supporting and inclusive learning environment
The ideal candidate:
- Experience supporting students with Autism and/or associated learning needs
- Genuine interest in working with students with SEN
- Patient and calm with a positive and proactive approach to learning
- Available full-time, 5 days a week and can work from 08:30 AM to 04:00 PM
- Reliable and committed to a long-term role where consistency is paramount
