Learning Support Assistant - Hillingdon
£90 to £100 per day PAYE
Monday to Friday, 08:30 AM to 04:00 PM

We have a great opportunity to join a thriving primary school based in Hayes, Hillingdon looking to expand their inclusion team and appoint Learning Support Assistants to work across their primary classes supporting students with Autism and additional learning needs. This will be an opportunity to gain experience working across multiple year groups broadening your experience in SEN. This is a full-time, long-term position starting immediately till the end of the academic year at a daily rate between £90 to £100 depending on your experience. Upon review of your performance, there will be an opportunity to go permanent in September 2026.
The role:
- Provide 1:1 support tailored to the individual learning and communication needs of students
- Incorporate the use of visual timetables and structured routines to promote engagement
- Support students with sensory regulation and manage behaviour
- Work closely with Class Teachers, Therapists and the wider SEN team to aid development
- Maintain a safe, supporting and inclusive learning environment
The ideal candidate:
- Experience supporting students with Autism and/or additional learning needs
- Genuine interest in developing knowledge of sensory processing and behavioural challenges
- Patient and calm with a positive and proactive approach to learning
- Available full-time, 5 days a week and can work from 08:30 AM to 04:00 PM
- Reliable and committed to a long-term role where consistency is paramount
