Some roles change your career, this one changes lives.
Every child has a story, some filled with challenges, others with quiet resilience, all deserving of understanding, patience, and belief. As a Learning Support Assistant, you won’t just support education, you’ll become part of a child’s journey toward confidence, independence, and self-worth.
This is not just a job for someone looking to gain experience, this is for someone who feels called to make a difference.
The Role
You will work closely with students who need additional support academically, emotionally, and socially. Some may have autism, ADHD, or complex needs. Others may simply need someone who sees them, hears them, and refuses to give up on them.
Your presence will mean:
- A child feels safe enough to try
- A student finally believes, “I can do this”
- A young person learns to trust again
What We're Looking For
We’re not looking for perfection—we’re looking for heart.
- Patience that doesn’t run out when things get tough.
- Empathy that sees beyond behaviour.
- Resilience to keep showing up, even on the hard days.
- A genuine belief that every child deserves a chance.
Experience is helpful, but your mindset matters more.
Why Join Through Parker Smith Inclusion?
At Parker Smith Inclusion, we don’t just place people into roles—we match values, purpose, and passion. You’ll be supported, guided, and placed somewhere you can truly thrive, not just “fit in.”
If you’re looking for a role that challenges you, grows you, and gives you a sense of purpose that stays long after the school day ends, this could be it.
Because sometimes, the most important lessons aren’t taught from the front of a classroom, they’re taught through kindness, patience, and showing up every single day.
