Learning Support Assistant
Location: Witham, Essex
Pay: £95–£105 per day
Hours: Full-time, term-time only
Contract: Temp-to-perm opportunity
Parker Smith Inclusion is delighted to be working in partnership with a purpose-built SLD (Severe Learning Difficulties) school in Witham, supporting them in recruiting passionate Learning Support Assistants who are keen to train as ABA (Applied Behaviour Analysis) Tutors. This is a brilliant opportunity to grow your skills, gain recognised training and begin building a rewarding career within specialist education.
About the Role
In this position, you’ll provide dedicated one-to-one support, helping pupils to engage with their learning, make progress and feel confident in a structured, nurturing environment. As part of your journey, you’ll receive hands-on training and guidance from experienced ABA practitioners, developing practical skills and knowledge in ABA techniques.
From day one, you will:
- Receive full training in ABA strategies and approaches
- Work closely with experienced ABA tutors, therapists and specialist staff
- Support pupils on a one-to-one basis throughout the school day
- Help deliver structured learning and behaviour support programmes
- Be part of a welcoming and highly supportive specialist team
