Learning Support Assistant – Southwark
£95 to £100 per day PAYE
Monday to Friday, 08:30 AM to 03:30 PM
Full-time, long-term to permanent contract (term-time only)

A specialist school in South London providing a nurturing and highly supportive environment for young people with SEND. The school offers personalised education for pupils with severe, profound and complex learning difficulties, including autism, multi-sensory impairments, and complex communication needs.

About the role:
You will be based in a SEND class in either primary or secondary working 1:1 with students with special needs particularly those with Autism and complex needs. You will play a key role in their development through sensory learning and provide vital care in their wellbeing. Additionally, for specific students you will be given the opportunity to lead interventions and small group work for specific students that need additional support with their learning outside of the classroom.
