Salary: £95–£110 per day PAYE

We’re working with a school in Chelmsford looking for a caring and committed Learning Support Assistant / SEND Teaching Assistant.
About the Role
You’ll support pupils with a range of SEND and additional needs, helping them access learning and feel confident within the school environment.
Your responsibilities will include:

Providing 1:1 and small-group support

Supporting pupils with learning and classroom activities

Helping with communication and social development
-
Supporting positive behaviour and emotional regulation

Building trusting relationships with pupils

Working closely with teachers and support staff
About You
Previous experience in education or SEND is welcomed, but transferable experience is also valued.
We’d consider candidates from backgrounds including care, childcare, youth work, mentoring, coaching and support work.
You’ll need to be patient, reliable, proactive and compassionate, with a genuine passion for working with children.
