Parker Smith Inclusion are working with a supportive secondary setting in Basildon looking for a Learning Support Assistant to join their team ASAP.
About the Role
You’ll be supporting students both in and outside of the classroom, helping them access learning and develop their confidence, independence and communication.
You’ll be someone who:

Builds positive relationships with students

Provides 1:1 and small group support where needed

Helps students stay engaged and focused on their learning

Supports students with their social, emotional and behavioural needs

Encourages confidence, independence and participation

Works closely with teachers and the wider support team

Is willing to go the extra mile for the students you support
Previous experience working in a school or SEND setting is desirable but not essential. We’re also interested in candidates with transferable experience who are passionate about supporting young people.
