Do you have experience with SLD (Severe Learning Difficulties) and Complex Needs?
Well here at Parker Smith Inclusion, we are currently supporting an educational setting that is set out across two sites. These sites cater to both pupils and young adults from ages 3 – 19 years old. Their staff work together to help provide each pupil with opportunities to flourish while receiving the highest quality of education possible within a safe environment. This provision is currently seeking a dedicated and eager Learning Support Assistant to join their team.
This is a SEND focused educational setting, focusing on SEMH (Social, Emotional, Mental Health), Sensory and Physical needs and Communication and Learning. As an LSA you will support and take part in daily activities both in the classroom and out.
Other responsibilities in this role may be:
- Interacting and supporting pupils according in line with their individual needs
- Supporting pupils with literacy and numeracy skills
- Assisting teachers and other staff with implementing care programmes
- Supporting with intimate care where needed
