Learning Support Assistant
Mole Valley, Surrey | Full-Time | Permanent

£21,000 - £25,000 per annum (pro rata) | Term Time Only
Immediate Start Available

The role of a Learning Support Assistant is about so much more than supporting lessons. It's about being the person who helps a child feel safe, understood, and ready to learn. It's about celebrating the small victories that others might miss and recognising that progress looks different for every student.

At Parker Smith Inclusion, we are working with a specialist therapeutic school that supports children and young people with Autism, ADHD, and Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs.

This is a school where relationships come first. Staff are encouraged to take a holistic approach, understanding the reasons behind behaviours and helping pupils develop the confidence, resilience, and skills they need to succeed both in education and beyond.

The leadership team has created a supportive environment where staff wellbeing is valued just as highly as student outcomes. With excellent facilities, ongoing training, and a collaborative culture, this is a setting where both pupils and adults are given the opportunity to thrive.

The Role

You will support students across primary and secondary age groups, both in the classroom and through targeted interventions. Working closely with teachers, therapists, and pastoral staff, you will help pupils engage with learning, regulate their emotions, and develop positive relationships.

Every day is different, but every day offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact.

We're Looking For Someone Who:

  • Has experience supporting children or young people, either personally or professionally

  • Has an interest in Autism, ADHD, SEMH, or therapeutic education

  • Is patient, empathetic, and resilient

  • Builds positive relationships and communicates effectively

  • Is considering a future career in teaching, psychology, therapy, social work, or SEND education

Why Apply?

This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience within a specialist setting that genuinely invests in its staff and students.

Whether you're an experienced Learning Support Assistant or a graduate looking to begin a career in SEND, you'll be joining a team that values compassion, collaboration, and professional development.
