We are on the search for PMLD Learning Support Assistants for a specialist SEND school in Benfleet, supporting pupils aged 3–19 with complex needs, including severe learning difficulties, autism and physical or sensory needs.
You'll work alongside teachers and support staff to help pupils access learning, develop communication skills and build independence.
The role includes:

Providing 1:1 and small-group classroom support.

Helping pupils engage with learning and everyday activities.

Supporting communication, social skills and emotional needs.

Following individual support plans and guidance from teachers.

Providing personal care, including toileting, where required.
What we're looking for
Previous school-based experience is essential. You must be comfortable supporting personal care and toileting, and able to work with pupils of different ages and needs.
You'll need to be patient, reliable and adaptable, with a calm approach, a good sense of humour and the ability to work well as part of a team. Experience in specialist SEND or complex needs settings would be an advantage.
