A specialist SEMH school in Willesden is looking for Learning Support Assistants to help pupils overcome barriers, regulate emotions and rediscover their confidence in education.

The setting
The school supports young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs in a structured and supportive environment.
Staff focus on relationships, consistency and helping pupils develop the confidence and skills they need to make progress.
The role
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will:

Provide one-to-one and small-group support

Support SEMH, SEND and behavioural needs

Help pupils engage with lessons
-
Encourage emotional regulation and positive behaviour

Build trusted relationships
-
Reinforce learning and behaviour strategies

Work alongside teachers and pastoral staff

Help create a calm, safe classroom

You do not need previous SEMH experience.
