We are working with a highly regarded specialist school in North London seeking a passionate Maths Teacher with the ability to teach Science to join their secondary team from September 2026.
This is an opportunity to work within a nurturing, therapeutic environment supporting pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs and autism. The school is committed to helping young people rebuild confidence, re-engage with learning, and achieve meaningful progress both academically and personally.
The Role
- Teach Maths across KS3 & KS4
- Deliver Science where required
- Support pupils with SEMH and additional needs
- Adapt learning to meet individual needs
- Build positive, consistent relationships with students
- Work collaboratively within a supportive multidisciplinary team
The Ideal Candidate
- QTS/QTLS or equivalent
- Experience teaching Maths in a secondary setting
- Ability or willingness to teach Science
- Strong behaviour management and nurturing approach
- Passion for SEND/SEMH education
- Resilient, compassionate, and committed to making a difference
