We are seeking a dedicated Maths Teacher to join a well-established SEMH school supporting high-functioning autistic pupils and learners with a range of social, emotional and mental health needs. About the Role
You will deliver accessible, engaging and differentiated Maths lessons that strengthen numeracy skills, boost self-belief and support wider personal development. Working alongside SEND specialists, therapists and senior leaders, you will help nurture a stable, supportive and aspirational environment for every learner.
Key Responsibilities

Teach Maths across KS3 and KS4 using inclusive, differentiated approaches

Adapt lessons for autistic pupils and learners with SEMH needs

Create a calm, consistent and supportive classroom environment

Track and assess progress, tailoring teaching strategies as needed

Promote problem-solving, reasoning and independent learning skills

Encourage a positive, growth-focused attitude towards numeracy
Ideal Candidate Profile

Experience teaching Maths within SEMH, SEND or autism-supportive settings

Skilled in differentiation and managing diverse learning profiles

Confident in behaviour support, therapeutic approaches and de-escalation

Patient, creative and able to build strong, trusting relationships
