Maths Tutor – Specialist Creative Provision
Bexley | Functional Skills, GCSE & Desirable A-Level Support
As a Maths Tutor, you know that confidence can often be the biggest challenge when it comes to learning maths. For many young people, maths has become linked to frustration or failure. The right tutor can completely change that.
This specialist provision in Bexley supports students with additional needs through a creative and therapeutic approach to education. Many students have struggled within mainstream settings and need learning delivered in a way that feels engaging, accessible, and supportive.
The Role
You’ll support students across Functional Skills and GCSE Maths, with A-Level support being desirable.
Lessons are highly personalised, with learning adapted to meet students both academically and emotionally. Many students may have SEND, SEMH needs, anxiety around learning, or disrupted educational experiences, so building trust and positive relationships will be key.
The school values creativity, flexibility, and real-life learning approaches, helping students reconnect with education and develop confidence in maths again.
