I am seeking an experienced SEND LSA to support a child in Year 1 within a MS Primary based in East Ham. This is a small one form entry school that has access to a SEND provision/sensory room however this child is in MS lessons and you will be supporting on a 1:1 basis.
The student displays autism (however waiting on confirmed assessment), dysregulated behaviour, hitting, running, general behaviour challenges associated with SEND.
The child has not had the right support yet meaning he requires a TA that is going to be patient, understanding and consistent he needs to be able to bond and build trust with you in order to start seeing a difference in his behaviour and learning abilities.
I'm seeking a candidate that can commit to this child and willing to be part of his education journey not just a stop gap, you need to be prepared to handle dysregulated behaviour and use innovative to intervene appropriately when required.
