About the Role

This role focuses on delivering a personalised, outdoor led curriculum for secondary aged students with Speech, Language and Communication Needs and complex social communication differences

Learning here is practical, immersive, and tailored to each student. The focus is not purely academic but centred around communication, emotional development, and building essential life skills

In this role you will

Teach a secondary class through a hands on, outdoor focused curriculum
Deliver engaging lessons that are experiential, therapeutic, and individualised
Use the SCERTS framework to support communication and emotional regulation
Create meaningful learning opportunities through nature, animals, and real life experiences
Work closely within a supportive, therapeutic team

About the School

This is a multisite specialist SEN provision supporting children and young people with a wide range of complex needs, particularly social communication differences

You will have a main base, but the role includes travel to different outdoor learning environments. It is ideal for teachers who enjoy variety and want to step away from a traditional classroom model
