We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Practitioner to join our nurturing and inclusive team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong foundation in early years education and a genuine passion for supporting young children’s development.
As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a key role in creating a safe, engaging, and stimulating environment, ensuring that the emotional, social, and cognitive needs of each child are met through high-quality care and learning opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide outstanding care in line with the nursery’s policies and safeguarding procedures

Plan and deliver play-based learning activities that support the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework

Build strong, positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues through effective communication

Support children’s daily routines, including mealtimes, rest periods, and personal care
-
Observe, record, and assess children’s progress, contributing to developmental reports and planning
-
Adapt activities to meet the individual needs and abilities of all children

Promote an inclusive, supportive, and collaborative team culture within the nursery
-
Contribute to ongoing quality improvement and uphold high standards in all aspects of practice
Requirements:

A recognised Early Years qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 3 in Childcare or equivalent)

Prior experience in a nursery or early years setting is essential

Confident managing groups of children and supporting varied developmental stages

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
-
A strong commitment to child-centred learning and child welfare

Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

Sound knowledge of child development and early years education (desirable)
