Nurture Teacher
Location: West Drayton, Middlesex
Salary: M1 – UPS3 Outer London Pay Scale + SEN Allowance
Contract: Full time, permanent
Start Date: ASAP
What if your teaching could do more than deliver lessons — what if it could change how a pupil sees themselves and their future?
For pupils with SEND and SEMH needs, the right teacher can be the person who helps them rebuild confidence, discover their strengths and begin to believe in what they can achieve.
A specialist education setting in West Drayton is looking for a committed Nurture Teacher to join its team.
This is an exciting opportunity for a teacher who is passionate about supporting pupils with additional needs and wants to create a calm, structured and nurturing environment where every pupil can make progress.
You will play an important role in helping pupils feel understood, supported and challenged to achieve their potential.
About the Role
As a Nurture Teacher, you will plan and deliver engaging, purposeful and differentiated lessons that respond to the individual needs of pupils with SEND, SEMH and additional learning needs.
You will create a calm, structured and nurturing classroom where pupils can develop confidence, resilience, independence and a positive relationship with learning.
You will take a personalised approach to teaching, adapting your practice to remove barriers to learning and helping pupils re-engage with education.
