Could your clinical expertise help young people feel more confident, develop greater independence and overcome the barriers preventing them from engaging with education?
Parker Smith Inclusion is working with a specialist secondary SEND school in Hillingdon looking for an Occupational Therapist to support pupils with SEMH, autism, ADHD, communication difficulties and complex additional needs.
This is an opportunity to bring your clinical knowledge into an educational setting where therapeutic support plays an important role in helping young people develop the skills they need to thrive.
About the Role
As an Occupational Therapist, you will assess individual needs, deliver targeted interventions and help pupils develop their independence, emotional regulation and everyday functional skills.
You will work closely with teaching staff and other professionals to ensure therapeutic strategies are embedded throughout the school day, helping pupils overcome barriers to learning and participate more confidently in education.
The Setting
This specialist secondary setting supports young people with SEMH and a range of additional needs.
The school takes an individualised, therapeutic approach, recognising the importance of positive relationships, emotional regulation and practical support in helping pupils access education.
