We are currently seeking an Occupational Therapist to join a welcoming and supportive specialist SEND school in South London. This is an excellent opportunity for an OT passionate about supporting children and young people with additional needs and eager to make a genuine impact in an educational setting.

 

In this position, you will collaborate closely with teaching staff and other professionals to assess pupils' needs and implement targeted Occupational Therapy interventions. Key responsibilities include:

- Completing OT assessments and developing individual intervention plans 

- Supporting pupils with sensory processing, fine and gross motor skills, and functional independence 

- Delivering individual and group therapy sessions 

- Providing practical strategies and advice to teachers and support staff 

- Contributing to EHCP targets and annual reviews 

- Working collaboratively with families and multidisciplinary professionals 

- Monitoring progress and maintaining appropriate clinical records 

 

We are looking for an Occupational Therapist who possesses:

- A recognised Occupational Therapy qualification 

- Current HCPC registration 

- Experience supporting children and young people 

- Previous SEND, pediatric, or school-based experience is highly desirable 

- A good understanding of sensory processing and therapeutic interventions 

- Strong communication skills and the ability to work within a multidisciplinary team
