Parker Smith Inclusion are proud to be working in partnership with a trusted local tutoring company
Are you passionate about helping young people thrive outside of a traditional classroom? Do you have experience working 1:1 with secondary-aged students who need tailored, personal support?
We’re working closely with a local tutoring provider that specialises in supporting students who struggle to access the mainstream curriculum. These learners may be facing a range of challenges, including mental health difficulties, autism, ADHD, and other additional needs.
This is a unique and rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in a young person’s life by offering personalised support in a community-based setting.
🔹 Role details:
– One-to-one tutoring for secondary-aged students
– Flexible hours: minimum of 3 hours per day, up to 5 days per week
– Hourly rate: £15–£30, based on experience
– Sessions take place out in the community (not school-based), so access to a car and a full UK driving licence is essential
You must have:
✔ Experience supporting secondary-aged learners on a 1:1 basis
✔ The ability to build strong, positive relationships with young people
✔ Confidence working independently while being part of a wider supportive network
✔ A flexible, compassionate approach and an understanding of diverse needs
This role is ideal for mentors, LSAs, tutors, youth workers or teaching assistants with a background in SEN or alternative provision, looking for a more flexible and impactful way to work.
