About the role

Supporting children and young people with autism, SEMH, ADHD, sensory processing differences and complex needs

Managing an established caseload with full handover and clear structures
-
Completing holistic assessments and delivering functional, purposeful interventions
-
Contributing to EHCP outcomes and promoting independence, regulation and participation

Advising and modelling strategies for staff to adapt environments, routines and tasks

Working collaboratively with teachers, pastoral staff and other therapists

The ideal Occupational Therapist

HCPC registered with a recognised Occupational Therapy qualification

Paediatric experience, ideally within SEN, schools, NHS or private practice

Knowledge of autism, neurodevelopmental profiles and sensory regulation

Reflective, organised and solutions-focused in your practice

Sensory Integration training desirable, or willingness to work toward it
