About the role

  • Supporting children and young people with autism, SEMH, ADHD, sensory processing differences and complex needs

  • Managing an established caseload with full handover and clear structures

  • Completing holistic assessments and delivering functional, purposeful interventions

  • Contributing to EHCP outcomes and promoting independence, regulation and participation

  • Advising and modelling strategies for staff to adapt environments, routines and tasks

  • Working collaboratively with teachers, pastoral staff and other therapists

The ideal Occupational Therapist

  • HCPC registered with a recognised Occupational Therapy qualification

  • Reflective, organised and solutions-focused in your practice

  • Sensory Integration training desirable, or willingness to work toward it

  • Values neurodiversity-affirming, strengths-based approaches
