Looking for a SEND leadership role with a better work-life balance?
A mainstream primary school in West London is seeking a confident SENCO to lead SEND provision during maternity cover. This is a non-teaching role, working three days per week, with flexibility over your working days and a supportive senior leadership team.
The School and the Children
The school supports pupils with autism, speech and language needs, and cognition and learning difficulties. You will oversee SEND provision across the school, including a small specialist resource base, and work closely with teachers, support staff and families.
On-site parking is available, and consecutive working days are preferred.
Easily commutable from Harrow, Wembley, Brent and surrounding areas.
What You Will Do

Coordinate SEND provision, EHCPs and annual reviews.

Advise teachers on inclusive practice and pupil support.

Support teaching assistants and the resource base team.

Work with families and external professionals to improve outcomes.
About You

QTS with SENCO or strong SEND coordination experience.

Good knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice and EHCP processes.

Confidence supporting staff and leading inclusive practice.
Previous SENCO experience is preferred, but a strong Assistant SENCO ready to step up will be considered. NASENCO does not need to be completed already for the right candidate, subject to applicable qualification requirements.
