• Contract: Part time, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday

A small, specialist SEN setting in Finchley is searching for an exceptional PE Teacher to support a small group of pupils with complex needs. This role begins immediately, providing vital continuity for students who depend on consistency, structure and positive relationships.

This is a real opportunity to provide truly tailored sessions to a small group of learners. With such a small cohort, you can shape PE in a way that meets each pupil’s individual needs, interests and emotional readiness.

This position suits a qualified teacher who can confidently deliver off site PE and who recognises that meaningful impact comes from purposeful and nurturing teaching practices

Key Responsibilities
• Deliver creative and engaging PE sessions
• Drive pupils to PE locations using the school car and complete a practice run beforehand
• Build strong, trusting relationships with pupils who may present as dysregulated
• Support students with ADHD, autism, school refusal and social or emotional needs
• Provide structure, encouragement and emotionally safe learning experiences

Candidate Requirements
• Qualified Teacher Status
• Ability to drive with a valid licence
• Calm, patient and resilient approach when supporting vulnerable learners
• Reflective, values led mindset committed to ethical, child centred practice
• Adaptable, proactive and comfortable within a very small specialist cohort
